Job summary

HUD is seeking a Product Engineer to turn cross-cutting problems into shipped experiences across our platform and marketplace. You will work with product, design, engineering, and GTM teams to understand where environment creators and research teams get stuck, shape improvements, and build scalable solutions.

This role blends product judgment, interaction design, and full-stack engineering to move from user conversations and prototypes to production software with clear, dense workflows that

Qualifications

• Shipping software end-to-end from problem to iteration.
• Strong product judgment to define scope and tradeoffs.
• Clear, usable interfaces for complex, technical workflows.
• Full-stack capability: polished web UI plus backend/services.
• Comfort talking with users and using qualitative data to improve what you ship.

Responsibilities

• Talk with users and internal teams to identify friction; translate into product priorities.
• Design, prototype, and ship improvements across HUD’s platform and marketplace from problem definition to launch.
• Make agent runs and evaluation results easier to understand through intuitive interfaces and flows.
• Build frontend and backend pieces for vendor onboarding, environment submission, review, and discovery.
• Use feedback and signals to refine experience and help teams make tradeoffs.
