Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Procurement Manager within the Supply Chain function to manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations for US government and commercial contracts.

You will lead RFQs/RFPs, perform price analyses, negotiate terms, and oversee high‑value procurements across programs, collaborating with Finance, Engineering, and Program Management while traveling up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of procurement experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience leading procurement processes and tactics across programs.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS, CPFF/FFP/Time & Materials contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement efforts for multiple programs, managing supplier relationships and subcontracts throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage supplier performance, including proactive engagement and recovery efforts.
• Issue and resolve RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and negotiate terms.
• Conduct price and cost analyses and mitigate supplier risks.
• Administer high-value procurements, including purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Collaborate with Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and MD teams to address sourcing challenges.
• Support procurement for US Government and Commercial contracts.
• Monitor procurement reports and drive performance to meet metrics.
• Provide training and mentoring to procurement team members as needed.
