Job summary

Tractable in the United States seeks a Procurement Manager to own purchasing, inventory tracking and hardware-related accounts payable, coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations and Finance to keep records accurate and deliveries on time.

The role is fully remote with periodic visits to our Salt Lake City facility for audits; you’ll work in NetSuite or similar ERP, manage supplier communications, cycle counts, month-end close and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in supply chain, inventory control, purchasing, logistics or operational accounting in a physical product, hardware or manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of purchasing, inventory management and accounts payable processes.
• Experience with month-end close tasks such as journal entries and inventory reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP or inventory system (NetSuite strongly preferred).
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for inventory and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Raise and track purchase orders, manage supplier communication, monitor lead times, confirm deliveries and expedite critical orders.
• Process hardware-related invoices, perform 3-way matching against receiving records, manage vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements.
• Keep ERP inventory records accurate and set procedures for receiving, material movement and shipping.
• Run the inventory and AP close, prepare journal entries and schedules, reconcile inventory subledgers to the GL.
• Design cycle count schedules, review variance reports, investigate discrepancies and lead on-site audits.
• Work with production to ensure components are available when needed and flag supply risks to leadership.
• Maintain central digital records for shipments, receipts and inventory adjustments, improve workflows for accuracy and cost control.
