Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Procurement Category Manager - Structural Components to lead category strategy and sourcing for structural components and construction equipment on large energy projects. This remote, US-based role partners with engineering and construction teams to align technical requirements with sourcing plans and strengthen supply continuity.

You will negotiate terms, monitor market trends, onboard suppliers, and drive total cost of ownership improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business, Eng, Construction Management, Finance, or related.
5+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
Experience sourcing structural commodities and construction materials.
Proven track record in leading complex commercial negotiations.
Experience in utility-scale solar or renewable energy sectors.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies for structural components and construction equipment.
Lead supplier market analysis and category intelligence efforts.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and sourcing strategies.
Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance supply chain resiliency.
Evaluate supplier options based on total cost of ownership and commercial competitiveness.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
Monitor equipment market trends and technological advancements.
