Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote Procurement Administrator to support purchasing operations. This role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in South Africa, focusing on purchase orders, vendor data, and data accuracy to drive efficient supply chain activities.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in administrative or procurement support, strong MS Office skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; admin or supply chain qualification is advantageous.
• At least 2 years in administrative, purchasing support, or procurement.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in the ERP.
• Maintain vendor master data with accuracy and completeness.
• Track orders and liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Organize and file procurement documents per records policy.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and data analysis for the procurement team.
• Communicate promptly with suppliers and internal departments.
