Job summary

ABB is seeking a qualified engineer to act as a design authority for systems engineering with opportunities on small to mid-size projects. You will lead, plan, and support system integration, test, and operator training across sites with remote flexibility.

Travel up to 60% and a focus on effective collaboration with ABB sales and customer teams are essential. Required is a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Paper Science, 2+ years of experience, and strong English skills; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide process control expertise during QCS order pursuit.
• Act as technical liaison between ABB sales and customer process control and engineering teams.
• Develop Systems Engineering Plan and manage Systems Engineering team for site coverage when lead role is assigned.
• Prepare system software and support internal integration test.
• Support Factory Acceptance Test with Customer when included in project.
• Develop training material and schedule; deliver operator training.
