Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety program development for manufacturing operations. You will provide technical leadership in PHAs, risk-management, and capital project safety across cross-functional teams.

Collaborating with EHS, operations, and engineering, you will drive compliance with PSM and regulatory standards while supporting training, data analysis, and continuous improvement of safety systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of process safety experience within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience supporting capital projects, PHAs, and process safety management systems.
• Knowledge of Chemical manufacturing processes, PSM principles, and EHS standards.
• Ability to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead PHAs, risk assessments, and hazard reviews for capital projects and targeted processes.
• Develop, maintain and improve process safety standards and procedures.
• Provide process safety expertise to capital project teams throughout design, development and execution.
• Support Management of Change activities and regulatory/compliance efforts.
• Deliver process safety training and capability development across the organization.
