Job summary

Humana is seeking a results-oriented Process Improvement & Operational Excellence leader to drive enterprise-wide initiatives. You will evaluate, design, standardize, and optimize processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and stakeholder experience across functions.

In this remote role, you will lead governance, reporting, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel to Humana offices as needed and scheduled weekly hours of 40.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years coordinating enterprise-level operational processes and cross-functional workstreams.
• Experience applying PM, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile in an enterprise context.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Maintaining project plans, process docs, and governance materials.
• Strong written and verbal communications across teams.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Identify risks, track issues, and escalate appropriately.
• Detail-oriented with focus on process consistency and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, standardization, and optimization of processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Identify and implement process improvements using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Drive adoption of best practices, governance artifacts, and implementation materials.
• Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, and governance documentation.
• Plan, execute, and coordinate operational initiatives and strategic workstreams.
• Lead governance meetings, track decisions, risks, dependencies, and follow-ups.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting and dashboards; escalate critical issues when needed.
• Ensure operational readiness for successful implementation and adoption.
