Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Process Improvement Principal – Provider Terminations to lead and improve the end-to-end provider termination process. This remote role serves CST/EST time zones and reports to the Director, Network Governance and Market Enablement.

You will drive benchmarking, analytics, and governance across regions, influencing partners to simplify processes and improve member and provider experiences while aligning with enterprise strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years’ experience in the payer/provider contracting lifecycle
• Experience leveraging multiple business areas to drive company performance
• 7 or more years of improving or creating business processes
• 3+ years of project or people leadership
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
• Located in the Central or Eastern Time Zone
• Customer service/account management leadership experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategy and approach for Humana’s termination processes through collaboration with key stakeholders
• Oversight of the process for coordinating and tracking impacts of potential/likely provider terminations across all regions
• Autonomy to optimize operational processes related to processing a provider termination
• Overseeing governance and progress against opportunity areas
• Influence partners to simplify and improve business processes with provider/member experience as a tenet
• Identify additional opportunity areas and prioritize resources
• Understand provider changes in advance to drive collaboration
• Develop insights around downstream impacts of provider terminations on Stars and member experience
• Leverage data analytics to drive business insights and leadership communications about provider terminations
• Advise leadership of functional strategies with independent judgment
