Humana Inc. is seeking a Process Improvement Principal – Provider Terminations to drive end-to-end improvements in provider termination processes.

This remote role reports to the Director of Network Governance and Market Enablement and focuses on benchmarking, process re-engineering, and stakeholder collaboration across regions to optimize member experience and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will analyze data, influence partners, and develop enterprise-wide strategies while working with

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the payer/provider contracting lifecycle.
• Experience leveraging multiple business areas to drive company performance.
• 7+ years of improving or creating business processes.
• 3+ years of project or people leadership.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Located in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategy and approach for Humana’s termination processes through collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Oversight of the process for coordinating and tracking impacts of potential/likely provider terminations across all regions.
• Autonomous work across teams to optimize operational processes related to provider termination and reduce friction points.
• Overseeing governance and progress against opportunity areas.
• Influence partners to simplify and improve processes focusing on provider and member experience.
• Identify and prioritize additional opportunity areas and resources.
• Understand provider changes in advance to drive collaboration opportunities.
• Develop insights on downstream impacts of terminations on Stars, member experience and contracting decisions.
• Leverage data analytics for insights, reporting, and leadership communications.
