Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Professional to analyze and improve business processes within the PBM Strategy Enablement team, delivering data-driven improvements that enhance member experience, reduce costs, and boost efficiency.

You will lead cross-functional projects using DMAIC/Kaizen methodologies, collaborate with PBM leaders, and influence stakeholders to achieve measurable savings while working in a remote-first environment with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations management.
• Experience planning and implementing cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver a portfolio of process improvement projects achieving quantifiable annual cost savings.
• Analyze and measure effectiveness of existing processes against benchmarks and strategy.
• Partner with operations leadership to quantify initiatives improving cost, quality, and outcomes.
• Influence leadership and cross-functional partners with data-driven insights.
• Develop projects through DMAIC/PDCA/Kaizen or similar methodologies.
• Deliver quantifiable results with minimal supervision and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor project performance to meet cost, efficiency, and quality objectives.
• Validate and report financial impact of all initiatives.
• Indirectly lead cross-functional teams to sustain project objectives.
