AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant on a full-time contract basis to evaluate business processes and design practical solutions that boost efficiency, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience guiding cross-functional teams, and the ability to document current and future-state processes, create SOPs, and measure impact with clear KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, process optimization, and operational improvement.
• Experience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, and SOPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable process recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes, workflows, procedures, and operating models to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to understand requirements and challenges.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using process maps and flowcharts.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, control gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop recommendations and improvement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with leaders, operational teams, and tech groups to design solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process docs, and workflow specifications.
• Support process redesign, optimization, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact on people, systems, costs, and performance.
• Establish process performance metrics and reporting to measure improvements.
• Analyze operational data to identify root causes and evidence-based recommendations.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and requirements-gathering activities.
• Support change management for new processes and systems.
• Assist with implementation and adoption of improvements.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and propose further enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and digital tools.
• Ensure redesigned processes align with policies and controls.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and executive-level recommendations.
• Manage multiple assignments and maintain timelines.
