Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant on a full-time contract basis. You will evaluate business processes, map current and future states, and design practical improvements to boost efficiency and quality across operations.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and experience working with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process solutions and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related business/engineering field preferred.
• 3+ years in process consulting, analysis, or related discipline.
• Strong process analysis, workflow design, and optimization abilities.
• Experience mapping processes and documenting SOPs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or BPM is a plus.
• Experience with workflow automation or ERP/CRM tools is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications (Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes and identify inefficiencies.
• Conduct assessments, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Document current and future state processes with maps and diagrams.
• Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop recommendations aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to design process solutions.
• Create SOPs, guidelines, and workflow specifications.
• Support process redesign, standardization, and transformation.
• Evaluate impact on people, systems, costs, and performance.
• Establish process metrics and reporting to measure impact.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and evidence-based actions.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and requirements gathering.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and iterate as needed.
• Leverage technology to improve efficiency and automation.
• Ensure alignment with policies, controls, and regulations.
