Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant on a full-time contract basis to analyze current processes, identify optimization opportunities, and propose practical solutions that boost efficiency, quality, and productivity.

You will conduct assessments, map current and future states, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help implement standardized procedures, with a focus on measurable performance improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in business/engineering fields.
• 3+ years of process consulting, business analysis, or related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Experience mapping processes, creating SOPs, and documenting workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and operating models to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process assessments, interviews, and stakeholder discussions to understand requirements.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using process maps and flowcharts.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for automation and cost savings.
• Develop recommendations and improvement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to design effective process solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process docs, guidelines, and workflows.
• Support process redesign, optimization, and standardization initiatives.
• Evaluate impact of changes on people, systems, costs, and performance.
• Establish process metrics and reporting to measure improvement.
• Analyze data trends to identify root causes and evidence-based recommendations.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and requirements gathering.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes.
