Job summary

Iron Mountain Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to optimize workflows across facilities supporting ITAD operations, including receiving, sorting, testing, data sanitization, refurbishment, and shipping.

You will map processes, apply Lean tools, develop SOPs, analyze capacity and KPIs, and improve workstations, partnering with IT/Operations to enable serialized asset tracking and higher productivity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in process/industrial engineering or related optimization roles.
• Lean principles applied in manufacturing, refurbishment, warehousing, or reverse logistics.
• Strong spreadsheet modeling and data interpretation skills; proven project leadership.
• Experience with ITAD, electronics recycling, or enterprise IT hardware is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree and willingness to travel domestically with occasional international trips.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve floor operations across facilities.
• Apply Lean tools to identify bottlenecks and waste; perform root-cause analysis.
• Standardize workflows; author SOPs and job aids for multi-site use.
• Analyze capacity and KPIs, e.g., first-pass yield and processing times.
• Enhance workstations and systems; collaborate on serialized asset tracking.
