Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in chemical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in process controls or related field.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of control system architecture and programming.
• Experience with industrial networks like Modbus, fieldbus, and Devicenet.
• Ability to work remotely across multiple sites in a matrix environment.
• Basic understanding of CMMS such as SAP PM.
• Experience with batch and continuous chemical manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and protocols for the process controls group.
• Lead projects to design and specify instrumentation and controls equipment.
• Provide senior-level support for instrument and control activities with remote collaboration.
• Develop software upgrade programs and manage DCS reliability across sites.
• Assist in reliability calculations for safety instrumentation and document safety standards.
• Understand and evaluate batching and MES systems.
• Lead and communicate effectively to stakeholders and regional specialists.
• Support troubleshooting and corrective actions across sites.
• Apply mathematical analysis to design AI-driven process-improvement models.
• Experience with TwinThread or similar machine analysis software is desirable.
