Job Overview

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our client's manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the company's production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures
• Provide training and support to production staff on the operation and maintenance of control systems
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control system technology to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design
• Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networks
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with control systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as NEC and UL, is preferred
