Job summary

Logical Systems is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead and deliver complex automation projects for process and mechanical equipment. You will develop User Requirements, lead teams, and oversee DCS/PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configurations, and testing plans.

The role requires a degreed engineer with PE licensure, extensive experience with control platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell, and related HMIs). Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Degreed in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar).
• 5+ years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Experience with control systems hardware and software.
• Familiarity with NEC and electrical design for panels and networks.
• PE license and ability to lead a project team.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to develop User Requirements documentation.
• Lead project teams to execute controls hardware/software scope.
• Develop control narratives based on User Requirements.
• Feasibility studies with cost estimates for projects.
• Mark up P&IDs for instrumentation and controls changes.
• Design electrical controls drawings and review drafting outputs.
• Develop or oversee DCS/PLC programs and HMIs/SCADA configurations.
• Provide post-commissioning support and travel to client sites.
