Job summary

Savista is hiring a Coding Specialist II for Profee Multispecialty coding (Infectious Disease, Rheumatology & Endocrinology). The role conducts detailed review of clinical documentation to assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and clinic data used for billing and reimbursement.

You will validate APC calculations and ensure compliant coding practices. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of multispecialty coding experience, AHIMA/AAPC credentials, and proficiency with ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Two years of recent coding experience in pro-fee multispecialty (ID, rheumatology & endocrinology).
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure APC assignments and E/M codes reflect the documentation.
• Abstract clinical data to ensure adequate support for diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
