Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Remote Profee Coder II to support inpatient hospitalist, observation, and multispecialty coding. You will handle E/M coding, modifiers, and diagnoses while reviewing charges and supporting outpatient Profee work across multiple specialties.

The role requires AAPC certification, strong inpatient experience, and the ability to work independently to meet backlog-driven productivity targets. Fully remote with flexible scheduling after training.

Qualifications

• Profee coding experience in inpatient and multispecialty settings.
• AAPC certification is required.
• Ability to work independently and meet production standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient hospitalist and observation Profee coding.
• Code E/M services, modifiers, and diagnoses.
• Review front-end charges and perform charge review.
• Support outpatient Profee coding across Internal Medicine and other specialties.
• Code Medicare Wellness visits and chronic conditions.
• Apply current and 1995/1997 E/M guidelines.
• Maintain approximately 8 encounters/charges per hour after ramp-up.
