Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Remote PRN ProFee Multi-specialty coder to support coding of inpatient/outpatient hospital and professional services for reimbursement and research.

You will apply ICD-9/10 CM and CPT-4, stay compliant with regulations, and maintain accuracy while handling multiple service areas. The role supports Presbyterian’s mission and flexibility with varied days and hours.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the coding credentials at hire time.
• 1–3 years experience as a coder.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign CPT, ICD and MS-DRG codes for reimbursement.
• Abstract data for QA and Joint Commission purposes.
• Research records using several systems to code timely and manage AR.
