Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Private Client Group (Personal Lines) Account Associate for a fully remote role supporting personal lines accounts in California and beyond. The role requires an active P&C license, strong client service focus, and ability to work 8-5 PST.

Remote work policy allows hybrid onsite as needed within a 50-mile radius of a branch. You will assist with policy servicing, endorsements, correspondence, and coordination with carriers to ensure timely, accurate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
• Active P&C license.
• Ability to obtain licensing in 50 states.
• Multiple carrier experience preferred but not required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service by proactively anticipating client needs and maintaining professional communication.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and address changes accurately.
• Efficiently manage email, fax, and return mail communications and update client records.
• Communicate with carriers and clients to fulfill underwriting requirements and provide documentation.
• Prepare and deliver proofs of insurance promptly.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to service books of business.
• Assist with client claims processes as needed.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education compliance.
• Develop positive relationships with IOA agents, leadership, teammates, and carriers.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to deepen insurance expertise.
