Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Private Client Group (Personal Lines) Account Associate. This fully remote role supports Private Client Group personal lines accounts and requires an active P&C license. Candidates with California personal lines experience are preferred.

The associate will handle policy servicing, communications, and coordination with carriers to ensure timely service. Strong organization and client-focused service are essential to drive agency growth and retention.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
• Active P&C license; ability to obtain licensing in 50 states.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy with large work volumes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent client service by proactively meeting client needs and maintaining professional communication.
• Process policy servicing tasks including endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and address changes with accuracy.
• Manage emails, faxes, and return mail and keep client records updated.
• Coordinate with carriers to fulfill underwriting requirements and provide documentation.
• Prepare and deliver proofs of insurance.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to service books of business and ensure smooth client experiences.
• Assist with client claims processes when needed.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding performance and feedback.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain licensure and CE requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with IOA agents, leadership, teammates, and carriers.
• Continuously strengthen industry knowledge and insurance expertise.
