Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Prior Authorizations Supervisor for Pain Interventions. This fully remote role supervises the daily prior authorization and reimbursement support operations for pain therapies from the United States, with no travel required.

You will coach a team, monitor payer requirements, and partner with cross-functional groups to ensure timely patient access and compliant processes. The role requires strong leadership, healthcare payer knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, patient access, reimbursement support, or healthcare operations.
• Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or directing the work of employees or teams.
• Experience working with healthcare payers, insurance verification, authorization processes, or reimbursement activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily prior authorization and reimbursement support operations for pain intervention therapies.
• Coach, develop, and manage team performance to achieve service, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Monitor payer requirements, coverage policies, and authorization processes to support timely patient access.
• Resolve complex reimbursement, coverage, and escalation issues with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Partner with reimbursement, sales, clinical, and patient access teams to address coverage and payment barriers.
• Develop and deliver training on prior authorization workflows, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, payer guidelines, and applicable healthcare regulations.
