Job summary

DxTx Pain & Spine is seeking a detail-oriented Prior Authorization Coordinator to manage the authorization process for interventional pain management procedures in a remote, full-time role. You will collaborate with practices, payors, and patients to secure timely approvals and ensure accurate documentation across offices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior authorization and clinical setting experience is required.
• Experience working within Pain Management is required.
• Familiarity with payor portals and medical policy navigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor advanced procedure trackers to identify authorization opportunities.
• Collect all required documentation for prior authorizations.
• Review medical necessity guidelines for procedures by Payor.
• Submit prior and retro authorization requests to payors.
• Document account activity to ensure efficient claim processing.
• Communicate with practices, vendors, insurance companies, patients, and management.
