Job summary

Lumicera in Montgomery, AL seeks a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team, lead by example, and coach teammates to achieve KPIs and high provider/patient satisfaction.

You will mentor staff on core duties and tools (RxVector, NCRX, Lighthouse, Banjo, Cover My Meds), triage authorizations, and support Lumicera operations for optimal outcomes across patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or state licensure required per state requirements.
• 2+ years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Commitment to compliance programs and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic, supportive Prior Authorization team environment.
• Assign daily tasks, guide complex problems, and drive KPI goals.
• Train new and existing Specialists on core duties and tools.
• Identify workflow improvements and communicate with leadership.
• Provide daily support and ensure understanding of new protocols.
• Assist in prior authorization workflows for patients and providers.
• Support compliance and DEI program objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
