Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to lead the day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team and coach teammates. This role focuses on achieving patient and provider satisfaction and driving KPI goals through effective leadership.

You will assist in obtaining information for prior authorizations, train staff, and collaborate across systems to improve efficiency and outcomes for patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure per state requirements.
• 2+ years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic team environment for the Prior Authorization group.
• Assign daily tasks, provide guidance, and drive KPI accountability.
• Train new and existing Prior Authorization Specialists on core duties.
• Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement.
• Provide daily support and onboarding for new teammates.
• Assist in PA workflow with phones and patient queues.
• Support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
