Job summary

Lumicera is expanding and seeks a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to help coordinate day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team. You will lead by example, coach teammates, and drive KPI achievement, provider and patient satisfaction, and workflow improvements.

You will assist with triaging prior authorizations for specialty pharmacy patients, resolving operational challenges, and serving as a liaison across Lumicera for prior authorization duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• National CPhT and/or state licensure as required by the state of residence.
• 2+ years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Support compliance program objectives.
• Able to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic team environment for the Prior Authorization team.
• Assign tasks, guide complex problems, and drive KPI goals.
• Train new and existing specialists on core duties and tools.
• Identify workflow improvements for leadership.
• Provide daily support and communicate new protocols.
• Assist with prior auth workflow and queues for patients and prescribers.
• Support compliance and DEI program objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
