Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to oversee daily operations of the Prior Authorization team. You will guide teammates, coach on best practices, and help achieve provider and patient satisfaction goals.

You will assist with information gathering, triage for prior authorizations, and serve as a point of contact for escalations while coordinating with Lumicera across related duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state regulations.
• 2+ years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic, engaging Prior Authorization team environment.
• Coordinate daily tasks, provide guidance on complex problems, and drive KPI goals.
• Serve as trainer for new and existing Specialists on core duties and tools (RxVector, NCRX, Lighthouse, Banjo, Cover My Meds, phone platforms).
• Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement for Lumicera leadership.
• Support new and established staff with new protocols and day-to-day questions.
• Assist in Prior Authorization workflow for patient, prescriber, and healthcare professional requests.
