Job summary

Hydrolix is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Security, to own our security PMM work from insight to post-launch review. You’ll write the first draft, build battlecards, and run training sessions.

You’ll shape security market strategy, define ICPs and personas, and partner with Product, Sales, and Leadership to craft messaging, enablement, and launches for a data security stack.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Principal PMM or equivalent in security.
• Startup messaging, launches and enablement experience at a startup or scale-up without a dedicated specialist team.
• Deep knowledge in SIEM, SOAR, log management, XDR, detection and response, or security analytics.
• Ability to discuss log volume, retention, query performance, and data pipelines with practitioners.
• Experience supporting pricing and packaging work with market input and messaging.
• Writing samples showing precise, defensible claims.
• Familiarity with funnel, pipeline, and win/loss data.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up research and analysis with discipline to verify output.
• Experience with partner-led GTM and channel partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own security market PMM work from insight to post-launch review.
• Write first drafts, build battlecards, and run training sessions.
• Define ICPs, segments, and buyer/partner personas for security.
• Develop messaging and positioning to fit within the security data stack and SIEM ecosystems.
• Maintain competitive and market intelligence with updated battlecards.
• Engage with customers, partners, and prospects to inform messaging and roadmap.
• Lead security launches with templates and playbooks for future efficiency.
• Collaborate on pricing and packaging decisions and enablement.
• Publish security messaging as the single source of truth for teams.
