Job summary

Ladders seeks a Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Remote) to lead complex geotechnical projects within a Real Estate & Construction leader. This role informs proposals, contracts and client communications across multiple disciplines, requiring sound judgment and strong leadership.

Based in the US, you will collaborate with regulators, project teams and clients to advance work from analysis through execution, applying deep geotechnical expertise and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering required.
• ND PE Certification is required.
• 15+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects with multiple technical disciplines
• Make decisions on major proposals and contracts
• Prepare engineering reports with professional opinions and geotechnical solutions
• Conduct engineering analyses using standard formulas and software
• Interface with regulatory authorities on complex projects
• Develop client presentations and assist with marketing strategies
• Oversee client contracts and project team management
