Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in the United States is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Principal to provide technical leadership and manage regional geotechnical projects.

You will mentor staff, review technical reports, prepare proposals, and support business development while maintaining client relationships.

A PE or PG license, 12 years of experience, and a MS/BS in civil/geological engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required in each state worked.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support geotechnical staff within a branch and region.
• Host or attend project meetings with clients to provide technical solutions.
• Mentor Associate Principals and review candidates for Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical).
• Review committees for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation.
• Perform technical report reviews and prepare/review proposals.
• Assist with department management and P&L; engage in business development and client interactions.
• Support staffing decisions with hiring managers; lead and coach junior staff.
• Occasionally perform duties in CMT due to inter-departmental duties.
