Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a REMOTE position to support national transportation projects. The role involves leading field investigations, analysis, design recommendations, and reports, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will provide technical direction, mentor project teams, and coordinate with clients and accounting for budgets. A PE license, 8–11 years’ experience, and DOT familiarity are required, with the possibility to work from home

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• PE registration.
• DOT transportation experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Provide technical direction for large-scale transportation projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Perform and oversee field investigations, analyses, and report writing.
