Butterfly Network seeks a Principal Full Stack Engineer to advance our Enterprise Clinical workflows, connecting doctors to secure health data and enabling scalable, cloud-native solutions. You’ll shape architectures, mentor teams, and own end-to-end features, balancing performance with reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience solving distributed systems/web development problems.
• Mentoring engineers and leading teams.
• Willingness to work in different layers of the stack and unfamiliar problem domains; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Solve distributed systems problems, designing for elasticity, reliability, performance, and automated validation.
• Build modern cloud-based enterprise workflows with scalable architecture.
• Own business problems, shape ideas into system designs, and lead developers through execution.
• Mentor and lead other engineers to achieve our goals.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.
