Butterfly Network, Inc. in New York City is seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of our Enterprise Clinical workflows system.

The Butterfly Cloud connects health information securely, enabling clinicians to make informed diagnostic decisions with peers. You will tackle distributed systems challenges, design scalable cloud architectures, own cross-functional problems, and mentor engineers while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience solving distributed systems/web development problems.
• A track record mentoring engineers.
• Willingness to work in different layers of the stack and unfamiliar problem domains.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Solve distributed systems problems, designing for elasticity, reliability, performance, and automated validation.
• Build modern solutions using cloud architecture and scalable systems.
• Own business problems, shape ideas into system designs, and lead developers through execution.
• Mentor and lead other engineers to achieve our goals.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.
