Job summary

National Quality Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principle Software Architect (Full Stack) to guide technical strategy and scale the platform. This fully remote, U.S.-based role reports to the Sr. VP of Engineering and involves shaping architecture and driving execution across backend and frontend systems.

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Python and React, with Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Strong leadership and healthcare domain experience are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years in full-stack development with a lead role.
• Healthcare domain experience (EHR, claims processing, HIPAA).
• Backend: Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong experience with Azure; CI/CD and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and collaboration for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend microservices and web apps using Python and React.
• Build and maintain SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs with JSON/XML/CSV for interoperability with healthcare systems.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure with containerized services and IaC.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug across the full stack.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in reviews and design discussions.
• Stay current with healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements.
