Job summary

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects, collaborate with technical teams to create detailed proposals, and manage all aspects of project execution, including schedules, risk management, and financial health.

Based in Virginia or other US locations, you will drive client satisfaction through clear communication, high-quality deliverables, and strong relationship-building while overseeing engineers, designers,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or PMP with 10 years in engineering consulting related to data centers.
Minimum 6 years as PM or engineer with a data center focus.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience with hyperscale data centers as a consultant.
Proficient in cost estimation and proposal development.
Ability to manage scope, schedule and cost across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Lead projects with engineering teams to develop proposals, manage schedules and execute recovery plans.
Develop work plans, risk management, communications and WBS for execution.
Oversee schedules and financial health with timely reporting.
Manage engineers, designers and subcontractors to ensure quality deliverables.
Maintain client relationships, identify opportunities and support proposals.
Plan and supervise client contracts; travel to client facilities as needed.
