Job summary

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects and manage all aspects of execution. You will oversee schedules, risks, and financials while guiding engineers, designers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Remote options in the US are available, with travel to client facilities as needed. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering or PMP with 10 years of data center experience, plus 6+ years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP certification with 10 years of data center engineering or project management experience.
• Minimum 6 years PM or engineer experience in engineering consulting with data center projects.
• PMP certification preferred; hyperscale data center experience required.

Responsibilities

• Client & Team Relations: Provide exceptional service to clients and teammates while fostering positive relationships.
• Project Leadership: Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, manage schedules, and execute recovery plans when needed.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Scheduling & Financial Management: Oversee project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and manage financial health of projects, ensuring timely reporting and performance tracking.
• Team & Resource Management: Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Client & Business Development: Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts.
• Contract & Project Oversight: Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, traveling to client facilities as needed #LI-MB1
