Job summary

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical Group seeks a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects, develop detailed proposals with technical teams, and manage schedules, risks, and financial health. You will drive client satisfaction through effective communication and strong relationships, supervising engineers, designers, and subcontractors for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or PMP certification preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a project manager or engineer with an engineering consulting firm doing data center projects.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience with hyperscale data centers as consultant is required.
Strong cost/workhour estimating and proposal development/review skills.
Ability to manage scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering projects and drive proposals with technical teams.
Manage schedules, risks, and financial health of projects.
Oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure quality deliverables.
Maintain strong client relationships and drive project success.
Travel to client facilities as needed (10–15%); ensure project execution and compliance.
