Enercon’s Data Center Mission Critical Group seeks a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects, collaborate with technical teams, and manage execution from proposal to delivery. You will oversee schedules, risks, and financial health while guiding engineers, designers, and subcontractors to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing detailed proposals, managing timelines, reporting, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP with 10 years in engineering consulting, PM, or data center.
• Minimum 6 years as PM or engineer with data center projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with hyperscale data center as consultant is required.
• Strong cost/estimate and proposal development skills.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects.

• Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, managing schedules, and executing recovery plans when needed
• Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures to ensure smooth project execution
• Oversee project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and manage the financial health of projects, ensuring timely reporting and performance tracking
• Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables, while supporting internal standards and resource management
• Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities
• Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, ensuring successful project execution, while traveling to client facilities as needed
