Job summary

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical Group seeks a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects, create detailed proposals, and manage execution including schedules, risk, and finances.

You will oversee engineers, designers and subcontractors, drive client satisfaction through clear communication, and build strong relationships while delivering high-quality results on each project. The role may be based in multiple U.S. locations or remote in the US with 10-15% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• At least 6 years in PM or engineering with a data center focus.
• Experience with hyperscale data centers as a consultant or provider.
• Proven ability to estimate costs and work hours; develop proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering proposals with technical teams and manage project execution.
• Develop schedules, risk plans, communication plans, and WBS for projects.
• Oversee schedules and financial health, with timely reporting.
• Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors; ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue new opportunities; support marketing and proposals.
• Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, with travel as needed.
