Snowflake is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for its Anti-Abuse team. You will define the long-term technical vision for abuse prevention and work with product and engineering on risk surfaces to deploy robust controls.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems and security
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python in mission-critical services
• Deep experience designing controls for multi-tenant compute and cloud APIs
• Experience building streaming processing and anomaly detection at enterprise scale
• Threat modeling across account lifecycles and abuse vectors

Responsabilités

• Define long-term technical vision for anti-abuse across the Snowflake platform
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on high-risk surfaces (Snowpark, Data Sharing, Marketplace, AI/LLM services) to design anti-abuse controls
• Architect scalable telemetry pipelines and risk-scoring engines processing millions of queries and data
• Model emerging abuse techniques and design proactive mitigation systems
• Mentor staff and influence architectural standards across teams
