Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Anti-Abuse team within Security Foundations. You will design and scale security-first capabilities across a complex multi-cloud platform to protect customers from abuse, fraud, and data exfiltration.

You will build real-time detection, contribute to secure engineering, and collaborate with Security, Engineering and Product teams to raise the bar on system design and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or a similar language for building detections and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a multi-cloud environment.
• Develop intelligent security platforms using AI/ML and risk scoring.
• Build real-time detection and prevention systems for account compromise and data exfiltration.
• Create security intelligence and monitoring to detect suspicious activity and enable timely response.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, and Product to define security strategy and drive secure engineering practices.
