Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Anti-Abuse team within Security Foundations. You will design and scale security-by-default capabilities across a complex multi-cloud environment to protect Snowflake and its customers from abuse, fraud, and data exfiltration.

The role emphasizes real-time detection, AI/ML-driven risk scoring, and cross-functional collaboration to raise the bar on secure engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar languages for data pipelines and detections.
• Experience designing, testing, and maintaining secure software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a multi-cloud environment.
• Develop intelligent security platforms using AI/ML and risk scoring.
• Build real-time detection and prevention systems for account compromise and data exfiltration.
• Create security intelligence and monitoring to detect suspicious activity and enable timely response.
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Product teams to define security strategy and adopt secure practices.
