Kin Insurance is seeking an entry-level Pricing & Risk Analyst to help identify profitable growth by state and segment. The role collaborates with state managers to translate policy and claims data into actionable pricing recommendations using Databricks Genie, Claude Code, and MCP-enabled workflows.

You’ll build knowledge of insurance metrics, pricing, segmentation, and state performance while developing recurring state analyses and reports for the team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Foundational SQL skills and Excel proficiency
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns and explain findings
• Hands-on AI experience for analytical tasks using Claude Code, Databricks Genie, MCP workflows
• Ability to explain findings clearly and manage assignments with guidance
• Internships, coursework, and analytical projects count

Responsabilidades

• Own state performance reporting on quote volume, quote-to-bind conversion, new business, premium, retention, and loss experience
• Analyze performance across geography, risk characteristics, coverage, and channels to surface growth opportunities
• Evaluate how rate changes and underwriting shifts could affect growth and profitability
• Deliver clear charts and concise summaries for Pricing and Risk teams
• Measure performance after pricing and product changes go live
