Kin Insurance seeks an entry-level Pricing & Risk Analyst to help identify profitable state growth opportunities. You will turn policy, quote, and claims data into practical recommendations, working with Databricks Genie and Claude Code while learning insurance metrics and pricing strategies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, finance, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Foundational SQL skills and proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns, investigate questions, and explain findings
• Hands-on experience using AI for analytical or coding tasks, and willingness to use Claude Code, Databricks Genie, and MCP-enabled workflows
• Ability to explain findings in plain language, stay curious, and manage assignments with guidance

Responsabilidades

• Own recurring state performance reporting on quote volume, quote-to-bind conversion, new business, premium, retention, and loss experience
• Analyze performance across geography, risk characteristics, coverage, and distribution channels to surface growth opportunities
• Evaluate how proposed rate changes, underwriting rules, and shifts in business mix could affect growth and profitability
• Deliver clear charts and concise summaries for Pricing and Risk and partner teams
• Measure performance after pricing, underwriting, and product changes go live
