Kin Insurance seeks a Pricing & Risk Analyst to turn policy, quote, and claims data into practical pricing decisions. You’ll work with Databricks Genie, Claude Code, and MCP-enabled workflows to explore data and automate recurring analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field; or related practical experience.
• Foundational SQL skills and proficiency with Excel or similar tools.
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns and explain findings.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for analytical tasks; willingness to use Claude Code, Databricks Genie, MCP-enabled workflows.
• Ability to explain findings in plain language and manage assignments with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze policy, quote, and claims data to inform pricing decisions across states and segments.
• Own state performance reporting on quote volume, conversion, new business, premium, retention, and loss experience.
• Evaluate impact of rate changes, underwriting rules, and business mix on growth and profitability.
• Develop dashboards and automated reports to support Pricing and Risk decisions.
• Collaborate with state managers and partners to translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
