Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Dell Solutions Architect to collaborate with account teams, Dell field teams, and customers to design defensible architectures for complex infrastructure projects. This is a customer-facing, technically demanding role focused on outcomes and repeatable IP.

The position is remote with home office setup determined by SHI management. You will lead discovery, sizing, and architecture decisions across compute, storage, and cloud domains, delivering actionable

Qualifications

• Lead technical discovery and translate requirements into architectural decisions.
• Design and defend Dell-based solutions across compute, storage, private cloud and AI.
• Produce reusable technical IP from customer engagements.
• Explain architectural trade-offs and competitive alternatives with credibility.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SHI account teams to qualify, scope, and lead complex Dell opportunities.
• Lead discovery sessions translating business, operational, application, security, and infrastructure requirements into architecture decisions.
• Analyze assessment data, workload requirements, configuration information, and telemetry to support sizing and architecture decisions.
• Design and defend Dell-based solutions across compute, storage, private cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure, data protection and cyber resilience.
• Create architectures using Dell platforms (PowerEdge, PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerSwitch, Dell Private Cloud, PowerProtect, etc.).
• Lead customer whiteboards, workshops, architecture reviews, and proofs of concept for transformational pursuits.
• Explain trade-offs and competitive alternatives with SHI's cross-OEM perspective while giving evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with Dell field, engineering, and roadmap resources to validate designs and align resources.
• Develop technical deliverables such as discovery guides, reference architectures, sizing checklists, BOM inputs, migration considerations, and logs.
• Enable SHI sales and technical teams through field coaching, opportunity support, and customer-ready content.
• Maintain opportunity awareness and manage multiple concurrent pursuits with disciplined documentation.
