Job summary

SHI is seeking a remote Dell Solutions Architect to collaborate with account teams and regional engineers to design defensible, outcome-aligned architectures for complex Dell infrastructures.

You will lead technical discovery, workshops, and validation activities, translating business needs into architecture decisions and reusable IP for SHI. This is a customer-facing, strategic role with cross-region impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience is required.
• Five or more years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, pre-sales, infrastructure consulting, or a comparable customer-facing role is preferred.
• Demonstrated customer-facing experience with complex infrastructure discovery, design, presentation, and technical decision support.
• Ability to travel to SHI, Dell Technologies, partner, and customer meetings and events as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, scope, and lead complex Dell Technologies opportunities while preserving regional ownership and customer continuity.
• Lead discovery sessions translating business, operational, and technical requirements into architecture decisions and next steps.
• Analyze assessment data and telemetry to support evidence-based sizing and architecture decisions.
• Design and defend Dell-based solutions across compute, storage, private cloud, and networking.
• Develop technical deliverables including reference architectures, BOM inputs, migration considerations, and workshop materials.
• Produce reusable technical IP from engagements for use across regions.
• Enable SHI sales and technical teams through coaching, content, and field engagement.
• Maintain opportunity awareness and follow-up with stakeholders across multiple pursuits.
