Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to serve as a customer-facing cloud security expert. You will take a consultative approach to security projects and understand how security technology enables business outcomes.

This remote role may require reporting to an office in Austin, TX for business needs. You will educate sales teams, stay current on technology trends, and develop new security services offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc.
• Strong identity governance and security knowledge (DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM).
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs.
• Expertise in mainstream technologies including Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, Rubrik, Varonis, Sentra, Cohesity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers and procurement to strengthen relationships.
• Understand SHI services offerings across solution areas through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling through 1x1, team and company training.
• Stay current on technology trends and market behavior through study of industry landscape.
• Engage in lab work to increase job-related knowledge and skills.
• Develop collateral to assist with cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Develop use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements.
